SHOW NOTES: EPISODE 31

Hilary Weinstein of HLW Therapy - Eating Disorder Recovery

This is a very special episode and unlike one that we’ve released so far. Today on the show, I talk to Hilary Weinstein of HLW Therapy about eating disorder recovery.

Hilary is a psychotherapist who treats women and men for eating disorders and she herself is recovered from an eating disorder. Since then, Hilary started her own private practice with the goal to reach as many young men and women as possible.

On this episode, we dive into her story and recovery, how that has equipped her to start her own practice, and what advice she would have for other women in a similar field.

Thanks for listening! If you enjoyed this episode, consider writing a review on Apple Podcasts! Talk to you next week!

In this episode, we cover:

About Hilary:

Throughout her practice, what has motivated her the most is her understanding of how we default to certain emotions and behavioral patterns in response to life’s stresses and transitions.

These patterns of behavior can affect sense of self-esteem, friendships, romantic relationships, and career. Hilary provides you with a safe and comfortable atmosphere where we can explore the circumstances and emotions you are struggling with.

Hilary assists you in identifying triggers and recognizing your own strengths. These strengths can be harnessed to reframe your perceptions, regulate your emotions, modify behavior, develop coping tools, and empower you to regain control of your life.
